A word family is a group of words that all mean nearly the same thing. Learn one family a day and you will never repeat the same boring word again!
Synonyms are not exactly equal. Some are stronger than others. Climb the ladder and feel the word get bigger!
IEO tip: if a question says "choose the word closest in meaning", first decide how strong the word is. Furious is not the same as annoyed — one is a storm 🌪️, the other is a breeze 🍃.

Careful! You cannot use any prefix with any word.
There is no word "unpossible" — the correct word is impossible.
