🪜 Reading a shopping problem
Speed connects distance and time: Speed = Distance ÷ Time. Rearrange it to find whichever piece is missing.
Three ways to use the same triangle: Speed = Distance ÷ Time. Distance = Speed × Time. Time = Distance ÷ Speed.
Sharing equally is division. Sometimes there is a leftover — the remainder — and the question decides whether you keep it, round up, or ignore it.
Watch the remainder! "100 mangoes packed 8 to a box" gives 12 full boxes with 4 left over. If the question asks "how many boxes are needed to pack ALL of them", the answer is 13 — you need one more, smaller box for the leftovers.
